Ricky O. Grimes

Following retirement from an impressive career with the United States Air Force which began in 1985, Ricky chose to parlay his experience serving 13 Squadron Commanders in seven squadrons at five different bases as a first sergeant,  into governmental relations and lobbying with The Thames Advantage.   Achieving the rank of Senior Master Sergeant, Ricky's most recent assignment was at Robins Air Force Base, GA where he advised the Squadron Commander on matters of effective utilization, training, education, development, morale and combat readiness of over 460 personnel.  Grimes has served on bases both in the U.S. and abroad in his career.

Much decorated, Ricky’s awards include six times receipt of the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, three times receipt of the Air Force Commendation Medal and five times receipt of the Air Force Achievement Medal.  Ricky was recognized on multiple occasions throughout his career with quarterly and annual awards for outstanding performance.  

While in service, Ricky chose to advance his education earning Associates degrees in General Studies, Munitions Systems Technology and Human Resource Management from the Community College of the Air Force and a B.S. Degree in Human Services Management.  He is currently pursuing a Master's  of Business Administration degree with emphasis in Human Resource Management.
